Privacy

Privacy - What Is Collected, Who Sees It, and How to Have It Removed

In one paragraph: this desk collects what a booking needs and nothing else, passes the parts of it a driver needs to the operator working your ride, keeps the record for two years, sets no cookies, runs no measurement code, and deletes your records on request.

Thistle Crossing books ground transfers and runs none of them. No airline, no airport authority, no government body, no hotel group and no carrier owns this desk, pays it or stands behind it. The ride itself is worked by a local operator who holds their own permits, and their name is on the vehicle rather than ours.

01Controller

1. Who is responsible

Thistle Crossing Transfers LLC, 3301 Boston Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21224, United States, is responsible for the personal information described here. Questions and requests go to waybill@thistlecrossing.com or by telephone to +1 (443) 612-4708 during desk hours.

02Collected

2. What is collected, and only this

WhatWhere it comes fromWhy it exists
Your nameYou, on a form or the telephoneSomebody has to be on the run sheet.
A telephone number, an email address, or bothYouSo the quote can reach you and the driver can find you on the day.
The pickup address and the dropYouIt is the ride.
The date, the pickup time, the flight numberYouIt is the ride, and the flight number is what lets the operator watch for a delay.
People and bagsYouIt decides the vehicle size.
Anything you type into the message boxYouChild seat, wheelchair, second stop, whatever you told us.
The fact that a booking happened, and its outcomeThe deskRecords, disputes, and knowing which operators are reliable.

That is the list. There is no card number here, no date of birth, no licence, no passport and no account, because none of those are needed to book a ride and this desk does not collect what it does not need.

03Sharing

3. Who else sees it

  • The operator working your ride gets your name, the pickup address, the drop, the time, the flight number and anything the driver needs from the message box. They do not get your email address unless you asked to be reached that way.
  • Nobody else. No data broker, no advertising network, no list, no partner, no affiliate. This desk does not sell information and does not trade it.
  • A public authority, only where the law requires it and only what the law requires.
04Retention

4. How long it is kept

  • An unanswered inquiry that never became a booking: 90 days, then deleted.
  • A booking record: two years from the date of the ride, which covers the ordinary run of disputes and questions.
  • Correspondence about a complaint: two years from when it closed.
  • Anything you ask to have deleted: removed within 30 days, except where a live dispute or the law requires it to be kept, in which case you are told which and why.
05Storage

5. What your browser stores

This section is the one the strip at the bottom of the page points to.

NameKindWhat it doesHow long

Nothing elseThis site sets no cookies at all.

There is no analytics package, no tag manager, no advertising pixel, no session recorder, no heat map and no third party script of any kind on this site. Nothing loads from another host. That is checkable: open your browser's network panel and count the requests.

Because the only entry is the one above, refusing it is a genuine refusal rather than a menu of switches that do nothing. Refuse it and the strip simply appears again next time.

06Rights

6. Your rights

Ask what is held on you. Ask for it to be corrected. Ask for a copy. Ask for the whole record to go. Which of those you can insist on varies with the state you live in, and this desk does not keep score: a Maryland resident, somebody covered by another state's privacy statute and somebody covered by neither all get the same answer, because running two standards at this size would be theater.

To use any of them, write to waybill@thistlecrossing.com from the address you booked with, or telephone +1 (443) 612-4708 and say what you want. You will get an answer within 30 days. Nothing is charged for it and no account is needed.

If you are unhappy with the answer, say so and it will be looked at again by Nadia Whitaker personally.

07Children

7. Children

This site is not for children and nothing here is aimed at them. The desk does not knowingly collect information from anybody under 13. A child traveling in a booked vehicle with an adult is ordinary, and the booking is in the adult's name; the desk does not book unaccompanied minors at all, which is stated on the services page.

08Security

8. Security, described honestly

The site is served over HTTPS. Requests arrive by email and by telephone and are held on ordinary business systems with access limited to the people working the desk. Paper is not used for bookings.

No system is perfect and this policy will not claim otherwise. What can be said truthfully is that the amount of information held is small, that none of it is financial, and that a breach here would expose an address and a travel date rather than anything that spends.

09Changes

9. Changes to this page

If this changes, the date below changes with it and the substance of the change is described in this section rather than quietly swapped in.
