Contact the Desk - Speak to a Specialist During These Hours

One telephone number, two email addresses and a form. If your ride is inside the next twelve hours, telephone. For everything else, whichever of these suits you is fine.

Thistle Crossing books ground transfers and runs none of them. No airline, no airport authority, no government body, no hotel group and no carrier owns this desk, pays it or stands behind it. The ride itself is worked by a local operator who holds their own permits, and their name is on the vehicle rather than ours.

02Hours

Hours, and what they mean in practice

Somebody is at the telephone on weekdays from 6:00 am until 6:00 pm, and on Saturday mornings until 1:00 pm. Eastern Time throughout. There is no Sunday desk. Whatever arrives while the office is shut simply waits for the morning, which is the reason a pre dawn ride wants arranging a day ahead of itself.

The hours are printed as they are because they are true. This desk claims no overnight line, and a number nobody picks up at 2:00 am would be worse than an honest closing time. If your ride leaves before the desk opens, that is normal and it is arranged the day before.

03Details

What to include when you write

You do not need all of this, but the more of it there is, the fewer rounds it takes.

  • The date, and whether the ride is out to the airport or back from it.
  • Where it starts, at least to the neighborhood.
  • The flight number, if you have one and are arriving.
  • How many people and roughly how many bags.
  • A telephone number or an email address, whichever you would rather be reached on.
  • Anything unusual: a child seat, a wheelchair, a second stop, a bicycle box, a difficult door.

About visiting

The address in Canton is an office in a working multi tenant building, and it is where the post goes and where the company is registered. It is a desk with telephones rather than a shop, there is no counter, and there are no vehicles kept there.

If you genuinely need to hand something over or sign something in person, telephone first and it will be arranged. Turning up unannounced will usually find a locked door and nobody wants that for either of us.

05Complaints

If something went wrong on a ride

Tell us, and tell us quickly.

  1. Telephone +1 (443) 612-4708 during hours, or write to rides@thistlecrossing.com with the date and the pickup address.
  2. Say what happened plainly. It gets taken to the operator with your booking in hand.
  3. If the operator is at fault the desk says so, and if the desk is at fault it says that too.

An operator who generates the same complaint twice stops being on the list. That is the only real leverage a small booking desk has, and it is used.
